I'm a hacker, extrovert, nerd, and europatriot. Life is about creating value for people who share your values. Builders and entrepreneurs, in my case. Making something physical is hard. Scaling it is even harder. What's missing is automation that works before you're huge, something anyone can configure intuitively without needing an engineer. That's why I'm building ML models for robotic arms.
My path here has been non-linear: from economics to maths & statistics at ETH Zurich, computational genomics research, publishing on scaling laws at NeurIPS, half a year clearing shipping containers in Sierra Leone, and freelancing to build ML pipelines, which is now funding my v1 product.
I spent 37 days driving through central Europe to talk to potential robotics users. This is my day-by-day diary.
